To Register with TATA HMM E-Learning Programme, we request the L&D Head to provide the following details:

1. Full name of the company [ no abbreviations]
2. Email Domain employees will use (such as This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. )
3. L&D Head's Name (Approval Authority to allow/decline the course requests from users)
4. Email id for L&D Head - Any common email ID can be used for L&D Head instead of their official email id
5. Billing address to send the invoices (Invoices will be sent in the first week of every month)
6. Post company registration, we will send you information on the User Registration process and L&D Head login credentials

You can access the portal by clicking on the following URL

The process that users will go through is as follows:

1. Go to http://hmm.tmtctata.com
2. Users from your organization need to register with TATA HMM portal, by clicking the "Registration" Tab
3. Once the user is registered, he/she is eligible to "Request for course"
4. Once the course is requested by the user, the L&D Head (you) will receive an email asking for approval
5. If approved by the L&D Head (you), the user will have access to the course
6. The L&D Head (you) can approve the course request either by clicking on the "Approve" button in the email, or by logging into the portal by using the log-in name and password provided
7. For multiple approvals, the L&D Head (you) can log-in to the portal and select all requests and click on "Approve"

Important Note:- When the L&D Head (you) approves the course, the HMM window opens up on the L&D Head’s computer. The L&D Head (you) is requested to close this window. This will happen only when you approve the course for a user for the first time.

Please follow the instructions below:

1. Click on “Registration”. Complete the registration form by selecting the name of your company from the company list in the drop down menu 
2. After successful registration, you will receive an email from This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for validation. Click on the link in the mail to activate your account (This is mandatory)
3. After activation of account, please go back to the portal by using http://hmm.tmtctata.com and log in by using the “login” and “password” you had used during the registration process
4. Click on "course catalogue"
5. Select the course of your interest. Two options will be available to you to access these courses a) Request to L&D (company Paid) b) Self Pay (using your Debit / Credit Card)
6. If you select the "Request to L&D Head" option-
1. Course request will be sent to L&D Head for approval.
2. The L&D Head will receive the request, and will approve or decline the request. If the request is approved, follow d), e) & f) steps below. If the request is declined, approach your manager.
3. Please click on "Active Courses" button to the left.
4. You will see the selected course in the "Active Courses" list.
5. After clicking on the "launch" button, a new browser window will open. This will redirect you to the HMM course page, please "Click to continue".
6. Please go through the entire course and then close the browser window.
7. After completing the course if you score 7 out of 10 on Post assessment a "Print" button will appear on the course home page.
8. Click on "Print" to print the certificate.
7. If you Select the "self-pay" option-
1. This Course will be added to your cart. You can click on the "Add more courses" button to add more courses to your cart.
2. After selecting courses, you can proceed to check out.
3. Total amount will be displayed for making a payment for selected courses.
4. Click on the "Pay Now" button to proceed.
5. Secure Payment Gateway will open, fill out the card details and click on the "Pay" Button to finish the process. Payment Authorization will be displayed after successful payment.
6. Login to the system, click on the "Active Courses" button on the left.
7. You will see the selected course in the "Active Courses" list, with the Launch button enabled.

Please follow these steps to access this new platform:

1. Log-in with your existing log-in id(your official email ID) and password.
2. If you don't remember your password, you can use the "Lost Your Password?" link from the log-in area on the right-hand corner at the top of the page.
3. An email will be sent to your registered email ID with the link to change your password.
4. Log-in using the new password.
5. Go to Course Catalogue; select the course you are interested in. You will find a new button added on the page for Self Pay option.
6. If you select the "Request to L&D Head" option -
1. Course request will be sent to L&D Head for approval.
2. The L&D Head will receive the request, and will approve or decline the request. If the request is approved, follow d), e) & f) below. If the request is declined, approach your manager.
