Managing Supply Chain and Manufacturing Complexities
18 Feb - 21 Feb
Tata Management Training Centre, 1, Mangaldas Road, Pune 411001
Demanding customers, global supply chains, technology changes and new regulations are all increasing the complexity of modern manufacturing operations. In the future, this complexity is only expected to go up with shorter product life cycles, increasing spread of distribution, global sourcing and engineering operations around the globe. Today plant heads, supply chain heads and country heads of manufacturing not only have to worry about optimizing their local operations but also need to think about how they can become an effective part of optimized global operations. In some cases, they have to lead the global manufacturing for their organization. This program is designed to help participants gain an awareness of the complexities and challenges they would face in these roles and learn how they can prepare themselves to address these challenges.
The program will try to answer questions such as- what is manufacturing complexity, and what are the drivers of supply chain complexity in global manufacturing? How to align manufacturing with the overall business and corporate strategy? How do the best companies manage cross-functional, cross-cultural, globally integrated capabilities?  How do organizations address various dimensions of complexity such as compliance, sustainability, technology, sourcing, supply chains, and global teams to deliver results?
