Journal of Management from TMTC

The Tata Journal of Management is a valuable and unique learning resource that supports TMTC’s mission of facilitating leadership development, through the dissemination of the knowledge and insights of practicing business executives, thinkers and experts. The journal, which has been in existence since 1991, and is published once every quarter, features management literature developed by Tata Group executives on a wide variety of contemporary business issues (from time to time, non-Tata leaders, thinkers, experts and faculty at leading business schools in India and abroad also contribute articles).

Over the years, we have had the privilege of including articles by eminent business executives and luminaries from other walks of life, such as R Gopalakrishnan, Prof Jayant Naralikar, Prof Mashelkar, Prof Wayne Brockbank(University of Michigan), Prof Dave Ulrich, Prof Dani Johnson, Prof D V R Seshadri(IIM Bangalore), and  Mr Arvind Gupta (innovator and science educator).

All managers and leaders possess significant experiences and ideas that can be a rich source of learning for others, and organizations therefore increasingly appreciate the benefits of collaboration, free exchange of ideas, sharing of best practices and thought leadership. It is thus critical that practitioners reflect on their experiences and develop an ability to express and share their knowledge and insights. The TMTC journal is a platform that offers an excellent opportunity to do so. What’s more, the process of documenting such knowledge can become a step towards the creation of intellectual property, as well.

We invite contributions related to any functional area of business, or on leadership.

We provide authoring support as required.
